Ingredients

1 cup of all-purpose baking flour

½ cup butter at room temperature

3 tbsp vanilla extract

1 cup sugar

5 large eggs at room temperature

1 cup of fresh packed milk

4 cups of unsweetened coconut flakes

1tp confectioners’ sugar

2 ounce of melted dark chocolate (for garnishing)

  1. Sift the flour twice to aerate and break the notorious lumps. Transfer it into an electric mixer.
  2. Add butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and coconut flakes to the mixer. Mix at medium speeds for about three minutes.
  3. Beat the eggs and mix them at every stage. Add a cup of milk and continue stirring until perfectly mixed.
  4. Touch the dough and check if it’s sticky, and adjust the texture accordingly.
  5. Mold the sticky dough into round balls and place them on a greased baking sheet.

  1. Preheat your oven up to 1800C.
  2. Bake until golden brown or for twenty to twenty-five minutes.
  3. Remove and place them on a wire rack to cool completely.
  4. Drizzle the melted chocolate and sprinkle the confectioners’ sugar, lightly on top.
  5. Enjoy with juice or hot drink.
