Big Apple Businesses to Keep Their Nonessential Workers Home – Cuomo Executive Order 202.6. Says

The New York State Governor issued an executive order yesterday to all businesses in New York State to keep all their non essential employees home. The arrangement made with their employees could be a remote work, reduced work, or a blend of both, but they must explore all options to the extent that they can to ensure a “100% closure effective 8PM this coming Sunday” – March 22nd, 2020.

The businesses that make the list of essential work range between those in health care practice, key manufacturing work, banking, construction, child care, grocery supermarkets, news media, defense, and more. To see a detailed list of businesses that make the “essential” list, click here.
