Sunday, 20th October 2019 will remain indelible in Middle East history as Egypt commissioned largest Metro Station in the region. Inauguration of the Heliopolis Station will be witnessed by Egypt’s Transport Minister, Kamel Waziri.

In this day and age, building an air train seems much better, but this one that Egypt has done is a step in that direction.

It is noteworthy that the station was built on a huge expanse of land measuring 10,000 square metres. Ticketing is made easy with the installed automated machines for ticket purchases. Designated route of the Metro include Cairo International Airport and Al-Salam city.

Commuters are expected to start enjoying the Station after inauguration.
